Working alongside emerging director Gio Ribeiro, I collaboratively wrote the screenplay for Consume. Consume is an experimental short film which follows a young woman facing the pressures of modern life and the toxic, repetitive cycles of comparison she is stuck in.

I developed this synopsis and script proposal for a narrative drama short film as part of a university assignment. It follows a young man who reminisces with his father about his childhood and is forced to face the drastic changes impacting his life.

What if a princess getting forced into an arranged marriage was actually in love with her future-husbands’ sister? Eva is a modern twist of the classic fairytale and tackles themes of queerness, self-doubt and control.

As part of the planning stage before writing the full-length screenplay, I created a character profile for my main character, Eva. This included establishing the character in detail and creating a character arc with plot points. A summary of Eva’s emotional journey throughout the story can be found here.

This is an excerpt from a short screenplay I developed and wrote called Eva for a university project. I wrote this screenplay after the Eva summary I created- the script adheres to the Australian Industry standard. I’d love to further develop this concept into a feature length screenplay.
