My name is Josephine (Josie), and I have recently completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Screen Content Production, with minors in Graphic Design and Marketing at QUT. I am a passionate and dedicated multidisciplinary creative currently residing in a small rural town in the beautiful Moreton Bay region of QLD.

From a young age I have always been interested in the creative arts and storytelling. From dancing and performing at speech eisteddfods, to creative writing and acting in theatre productions, I have always jumped at the opportunity to hone my creativity.

Fast forward many years, and I have developed a keen admiration and passion for filmmaking. I love helping to bring personable and emotive stories to life that connect with diverse audiences and subvert expectations. My ultimate goal is to become a 1st Assistant Director on blockbuster or television productions. Throughout my studies I have gained experience in Production Management and 1st AD type roles in short film productions.

As I enter the workforce, I am especially looking forward to learning and gaining experience in production assistant roles. I am highly motivated and would love any opportunity to further develop my skills (and learn new ones!) in a professional setting, particularly within the film and television industry.
